On Thursday, May 25th, 5th graders from Cass Lake Bena Middle School visited Deep Portage Learning Center. The theme for the day was wilderness survival. Students learned how to build a small "camp fire," practiced some archery, and paddled canoes. Staff and students enjoyed the trip and made some great memories.
