Over the course of the past several weeks, our 8th graders have worked hard on developing their projects. Today they had a chance to share their work with their classmates, families, and staff at the middle school. Pictured is the winner of the science fair, Torey Fairbanks. Congratulations Torey!
Participation in a science fair allows students to review their learning in relation to the scientific method. It also allows them to pursue areas related to the sciences that they may not get a chance to explore. Finally, getting involved in a science fair allows students to dig deeper into those topics that have piqued their interest. We are proud of the work the students did and thank those who took time out of their busy day to attend.
